Mordialloc Theatre Company Inc. stages five productions a year. Each season consists of nine performances a season spaning over three weeks in an auditorium with the capacity to seat 220 patrons per show.
With each show there is a Charity Night at the start of the season, plus sherries and champagne with the plays' cast and crew on selected nights. These have become very popular with our regular patrons.
A Play Advisory Committee selects each production ensuring that a balance is reached by presenting plays that are comedies, dramas, thrillers, and farce. We have a large selection of in-house directors - some who have been with us so long they are now Life Members! We also call upon outside directors so that we can learn from their experience.
Some of the productions we have staged include: Count Dracula, Hobson's Choice, The Woman in Black, Charley's Aunt, Move Over Mrs. Markham, Da, Agnes of God, The Club and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
Every production is a collective effort of many people who volunteer their time in many different capacities. From building sets to backstage, to acting in front of an audience, everyone comes together with one common interest - enjoying Theatre.
